Jamboree visit Blazers in a battle of 2 playoff hopefuls.

Game 1:  Gonzalez @ Kershaw

After Murphy lead off the game with a single, giving him a 16 game hit streak, the Jamboree strand him.

Bottom 5, McCann singles in Tulo for a 2-0 Blazer lead.

Bottom 7, a Bourne RBI single, and Weeks 3 run bomb make it 6-0 Blazers.  And that’s more that enough for the ace of aces (7 IP, 4 H, 0 BB, 0 R, 9 K) as Blazers take the opener 6-0.

WP Kershaw (2-0)

LP Gonzalez (1-2)

Game 2:  Graveman @ Tanaka

After Murphy lead the game off with a single, (17 game hit streak) Belt doubled him to third and Cruz drove both in with a single.  2-0 Bear.

Bottom 3, a Grandy groundout scored Kinsler to make it 2-1.

Bottom 4, Kinsler RBI single to tie the game.

Bottom 7, Hand on for his second inning of work and Tulo walks as does PH Weeks.  Castro bunts them over and Carpenter triples them home for a 4-2 Blazer lead.  A Betts RBI single and Simmons E make it 6-2 Blazers.

That’s it.

WP Tanaka (5-1)

LP Hand (1-3)

Murphy leads the game off with a double.  He scored on a DP as BCJ take a 1-0 lead.
