Los Altos and New Milford Chapter 1
New Milford (AP)
New Milford has owned Los Altos in the regular season over the last few years. Los Altos has repaid the favor in the playoffs over the same span.
Game 1: Archer @ Kershaw
Los Altos strikes first in the top of the second as the league’s gift, Gutierrez, crushes a ball to left for a 1-0 lead.
Los Altos extends the lead to 2-0 in the third on Brantley and Igleasias doubles.
Bottom 8, New Milford gets some good fortune as Jeff thought Naverson was brought in but instead Archer stayed in the game. After a Betts RBI single, Choo gives NM the lead with a 2 run bomb.
Top 9, KRod on to close it out, and Turner PH’s a 2 out HR to tie it up.
